Silvia Romeo is a Policy Officer at the European Cancer Organisation (ECO), a Brussels-based not-for-profit federation of member organisations dedicated to combatting cancer at a European level.

Silvia has a robust proficiency in EU health policy, with a specialised focus on cancer prevention strategies encompassing HPV and Hep B vaccination initiatives, addressing workforce challenges, and advancing digital health solutions. Her extensive background includes experience collaborating with EU and national institutions, policymakers, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), patient advocacy groups, and industry stakeholders.

Beyond her dedication to cancer policy, Silvia possesses a profound understanding of youth policy matters. Currently, she represents ECO within the Youth4Health Network initiated by the WHO Regional Director for Europe. Moreover, Silvia contributes her expertise as a member of the Editorial Board of Vaccines Today, contributing to the dissemination of vital information on vaccination advancements and public health initiatives.
